Special local dialect has remnants of ancient and Medieval Greek, so it’s a one of a kind opportunity to experience some flashes from the past.The village itself is a live museum with an idyllic atmosphere when the clouds come down and surround the traditional houses with the breathtaking sunset view.

Fresh grilled fish and local lamb or goat stuffed with herbs and rice, slow-baked in a covered clay pot will be a difficult decision. But the exceptional local honey drizzled over fried dough strips called "xerotigana” will save you.
